Foundry
Jean-Pierre Vexlard
Earning the title of “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” in foundry and sand casting, Jean-Pierre is an artist of metallurgy. With more than 30 years of experience, he has built up a reputation for excellence in his field.
His passion and dedication have also earned him the label “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant,” and his unique pieces and works of art have been commissioned by artists from all over the world.
The Bugatti Baby T52 project immediately captured Jean-Pierre’s interest, and he seized the opportunity to use his skills to recreate the Bugatti Baby T52 castings precisely from the models provided by Christian Didier.
As an expert foundryman, Jean-Pierre was well-suited for this project, successfully creating aluminium and bronze parts from wooden models and sand moulds, ensuring that the techniques employed in 1927 were maintained.
